About Us

Darrilyn Stormes, Owner, CEO & Event Consultant

Ms. Stormes handles all aspects of the event’s development and planning.   She has served
over 15 years as a Director on the NY Regional Board of a worldwide non-profit
organization, and she has been instrumental in the development, planning, contract
negotiations and actual logistics of the organization’s annual weekend conventions at
various local hotels.  The conference attendance varied over the years from 5,000 to 12,000
attendees
.

She is joined by
Richard Hampton, General Partner & Financial Manager

Mr. Hampton oversees the financial aspects of the company, and has also served for over 8
years on the planning board of the same NY non-profit organization.

Although
Planning Up A Storm is headquartered in New York, there is a satellite office,
staff and vendors retained in Atlanta as well.
